The two models are, in fact, the same vehicle in technical terms, but are sold under different brands and names in different markets in Latin America.

Furthermore, it is worth mentioning the recently launched Rampage, which uses the same platform, but is distinguished by a body with exclusive elements and a more sophisticated interior.
The Ram 700 is a clone of the Fiat Strada. The only difference is the North American brand's logo displayed on its exclusive front grille.

In all other aspects, from the bodywork to the mechanics, including the interior finish, the two trucks are practically identical.
In fact, it is no coincidence that both are produced on the same assembly line in Betim, Minas Gerais (MG). In the United States, Ram's country of origin, the brand's pickup truck lineup does not include the 700 model.
The vehicle is aimed at Latin American countries, such as Mexico, Colombia and Chile, following the example of Fiat Strada in Brazil. Additionally, it offers single or double cab options, like the Strada.
Dacia is a company based in Romania and is part of the group Renault since 1999. In Europe, the brand occupies a more accessible position in the market, while the French parent company is at a higher level.

However, in certain markets in other regions, cars of Romanian origin can be found with Renault's diamond-shaped logo, as happens with the Duster SUV here in North America South.

The Logan is another exemplary case of a model with its roots in Dacia, reintroduced as a Renault in specific markets.
In Brazil, the sedan is currently in its final production phase and will be withdrawn from circulation by the end of the year. However, in Europe, the Logan continues to be produced and has even gained a new generation.
