Here is the essential guide to a skin care!

1. Vitamin C: antioxidant power

  • What is it recommended for? Vitamin C is known for its antioxidant properties, fighting free radicals that accelerate the cellular aging, preventing and lightening blemishes, stimulating collagen production and improving firmness of the skin;

  • For whom? Vitamin C is suitable for all skin types, from sensitive to oily. It is easy to adapt and safe in relation to sun exposure;

  • How to use? Apply daily in the morning, followed by moisturizer and sunscreen. Concentrations of 5% to 20% are best in terms of effectiveness.

2. Retinoids: the fight against aging and acne

  • What are they recommended for? Vitamin A derivatives, such as retinol and retinoic acid, are effective in cell renewal, collagen and elastin production, resulting in firmer and more uniform skin;

  • For whom? Recommended for teenagers who want to improve acne and for those looking to treat signs of aging, such as enlarged pores and wrinkles;

  • How to use? Apply a small amount at night before bed, increasing the frequency gradually. Using a moisturizer beforehand can minimize side effects.

3. Hyaluronic acid: hydration and firmness

  • What is it recommended for? Hyaluronic acid provides intense hydration, stimulates collagen production and improves skin firmness, reducing fine lines;

  • For whom? Ideal for dry and dehydrated skin, also beneficial for preventing signs of aging;

  • How to use? Incorporated into creams, gels and serums applied daily before other products. It can also be used as an injectable filler by dermatologists.

4. Niacinamide: the anti-inflammatory solution

  • What is it recommended for? Niacinamide, or vitamin B3, acts as an anti-inflammatory, strengthens the skin barrier, evens out skin tone and controls oiliness;

  • For whom? Suitable for different skin types, being particularly beneficial for oily, acne-prone and red skin;

  • How to use? Apply a small amount morning and night, after skin cleansing.

5. Glycolic acid: skin renewal

  • What is it recommended for? As an alpha-hydroxy acid, glycolic acid renews the skin by gently exfoliating the surface layer, removing dead cells and impurities and unclogging pores;

  • For whom? Great for improving skin texture, minimizing enlarged pores, reducing superficial wrinkles and treating acne and hyperpigmentation;

  • How to use? Apply a small amount at night after cleansing, increasing the frequency depending on your skin's tolerance.

Remember that combining such actives requires care, and sun protection is essential, especially when using retinoids and glycolic acid.

Furthermore, always consult a dermatologist for specific guidance on your skin. After all, each skin is unique, and what works for you may vary.
