Stimulate initiatives that imply improvements in governance and integrity actions in the management of federal education bodies. With this objective, the Ministry of Education (MEC) awarded projects presented by 11 federal institutes in the country, selected among 34 finalists, from a total of 70 registered, including universities, federal institutes and authorities linked to the department, from all regions.

Among the winners, the highlights were the Integrititude Podcast Program, from the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Brasília (IFB), in the category “Integrity Improvement Public”.
The category “Improvement of Internal Audit Activities” was won by the Internal Audit Panel, from the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Tecnologia do Norte de Minas Gerais (IFNMG), which also came in third place in the category “Improvement of Correctional and Law Enforcement Activity Anticorruption” (Law no. 12,846, of August 1, 2013), with the lecture “Spreading Ethical Values” and the booklet “Prohibited Conduct for Public Agents in Election Years”.
Also winning, in the category “Improving Active and Passive Transparency and Social Participation in Public Management” was the Nilo Peçanha Platform (PNP).,
For the category “Strengthening Risk Management and Internal Controls”, the winner was the Mapping of Governance Actions (Mago) project, from the Federal Institute of Espírito Santo (Ifes).
Data referring to the teaching and student bodies, technical-administrative and financial expenses of the units of the Federal Network of Professional, Scientific and Technological Education (Federal Network) are used for the purposes of calculating management indicators monitored by the Secretariat of Professional and Technological Education of the Ministry of Education (Setec/MEC).
According to the organizers, the award ceremony will take place together with the opening ceremony of the 1st Annual Internal Control Seminar (Saci) of the MEC, scheduled for November 28th, at 10 am, in the auditorium of the Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services, in Brasília (DF).
