Pillow lines: what they are and how to combat them

During a night's sleep, our face can be pressed against the pillow, leading to the appearance of so-called “pillow lines”. These temporary marks can, in the long term, become permanent expression lines if they occur frequently.

The good news is that they can be avoided! Invest in silk or satin pillowcases. These materials create less friction with the skin, reducing the chances of these unwanted lines appearing.

This position can cause wrinkles to appear, especially on the cheeks and chin. Sleeping on your stomach is also not the best option. In addition to pressing your face against the pillow, can cause eye swelling.
