This Friday (4), in Rio de Janeiro, the Carmen Miranda Museum reopens. It celebrates the life and work of the singer, who is one of the greatest icons of Brazilian culture in the world. The exhibition features the largest collection of original objects from Pequena Notável.
The museum opened in 1976 and had been closed for 10 years. In addition to telling the artist's story, the museum will also be a space for shows, workshops and lectures.
In her 20-year career, Carmen recorded more than 300 songs, including great hits such as It's there It is What does Bahia have?.
