A grandfather reads a fairy tale to his grandson, complete with a beautiful princess, fencing matches and giants. The story of the book is based on the life of Princess Buttercup, who is in love with a young peasant. After making her believe that he died, she decides to marry a prince, who soon turns out to be evil. On her wedding day, a gang kidnaps her and she discovers that among her kidnappers is the peasant. From then on, the two will have to face many things to finally be together.
