1. Libya
The situation in Libya is, in fact, a clear example of how armed conflicts persist after events that are widely publicized.
The death of Muammar Gaddafi in 2011 marked the end of his regime, but it did not bring the long-awaited peace and stability to the country.

2. Türkiye

5. Colombia
The Colombian Civil War is one of the longest conflicts in recent history, lasting approximately five decades and causing a profound impact on Colombia and its population.
One of the main reasons for this persistence of violence is the existence of dissident factions of the FARC, which refused to join to the peace agreement and continue to engage in illicit activities, such as illegal mining and drug trafficking, to finance their operations.
These dissident factions pose a threat to security and stability in several regions of Colombia.
