Franuí recipe: Learn how to make an Argentine sweet that became a web sensation

While scrolling through your TikTok or Instagram feed, you may have seen people trying or making the franuí recipe. This is an Argentine sweet, much appreciated by our “hermanos” from the neighboring country and which is slowly winning over Tupiniquins.

It consists of raspberries frozen and covered with two types of chocolate. It looks delicious, doesn't it?

The franuí recipe is not as difficult as it seems, but it requires a lot, a lot of patience from someone who has their hands in the dough – or rather, with their hands in the sweets.

So, take a deep breath and prepare the print to save the ingredients and how to make this Argentine dessert.

This franuí recipe was taken from Pablo Figueiredo's channel on the Kwai social network.

Ingredients

  • Raspberry (as much as you want or as much as your heart tells you);
  • White chocolate – enough to cover the raspberries;
  • Milk chocolate – enough to cover the raspberries;
  • Parchment paper.

How to make

The first step is to melt the white chocolate in water bath or little by little in the microwave (put it in for 30 seconds, stir, and put it in for another 30 seconds, repeating the process until it is completely melted).

Then, using a toothpick or fork, dip the raspberries into the chocolate. Place them in a container lined with baking paper and place in the freezer until the chocolate is firm.

Only when the layer of White Chocolate is firm enough you will melt the milk chocolate. Do it the same way, with a bain-marie or with the help of the microwave.

Then, repeat the process: dip the raspberries in the chocolate, making a second layer. However, this time, you will let them dry naturally on the parchment paper.

Only then will you place the franuí in another container and place it in the freezer. Ideally, the sweets should be refrigerated for at least 5 hours.

After that, just enjoy!
