Comic
Comics are stories composed of verbal and non-verbal language.
These stories are presented inside comics, where the characters are exposed and the speech is written inside different types of balloons. There are also stories where no balloon is used. The message is conveyed only through the drawings and facial expressions.
There are also onomatopoeias, which are sounds, noises reproduced by letters and drawings. There are also graphic resources, which are mostly symbols and signs that are applied to drawings, adding sensations, movements, etc.

The punctuation marks are varied, as in addition to reinforcing the characters' voices, they express the way they represent their feelings, such as: anger, emotion, fear, sadness, etc.
The comic book all takes place in a setting that can represent a farm, a city, an amusement park, etc.
There are also in the comics subtitles or letters that are resources used in the story as an introduction or during it, linking one frame to another. They present a description of a fact or important information for the interpretation of the story.
Questions
1) Review the scenes below, then create a dialogue and write inside the balloons. Don't forget to give your story a title.
2) Now the teacher must assist the students in the elaboration of a comic book using the studied resources. Theme can be free. Don't forget the title.
These comic book activities can be done in the classroom or at home. The teacher can think of a bigger group work. Good work!
