Rotation and translation is what the earth's movements are called.

Rotation: movement that the earth makes around its own axis, the movement lasts exactly 23 hours and 56 minutes and 4 seconds and 9 hundredths, equivalent to the hours of a whole day.

Translation: movement in which the earth rotates around the sun along with the other planets, occurs for 365 days, 5 hours and about 48 minutes.
