How is a dictionary made?

To make a dictionary, you first have to gather a lot of words. Therefore, other dictionaries, books, leaflets and newspapers are used. The dictionary needs hundreds of helpers to do this and then has to choose which ones to use in their dictionary. Not even the largest dictionary in the world could gather all the words, because it wouldn't fit in just one book, and because words are practically infinite, they are created and recreated all the time. And today, there is still the advantage that we can use an electronic dictionary.
