NAME:

Faust's antics

Faust was a naughty boy, he was always playing tricks and fighting with everyone. Once, at Christmas time, his mother asked him to help her decorate the traditional pine tree. But Fausto, as always, dismissed it and said that the only thing that interested him at Christmas was the presents. Fausto's father listened, got angry and said he was grounded: he wouldn't get any Christmas present. Fausta ran away, announcing that she was leaving the house. He left only with the clothes on his back. The parents were worried, but they knew he would come back. I needed to go through this experience. On the street, Fausto was looking for a place to sleep when he came across three thieves who stole his favorite sneakers. Quite nervous, Fausto continued looking, but as he couldn't find anything better, he decided to rest under the bridge. The next day, he woke up very hungry and left ready to find food. Passing in front of a cafeteria, he decided to go inside. But as he had dirty clothes, barefoot and had no money, he was thrown out of the place. Then he lay down on a bench and fell asleep. He began to dream of a beautiful place, where there was a man with white hair and beard, who told him:

– Faust, don't you think the time has come for you to know the true meaning of Christmas?
With a magical gesture, you brought out some images of families united in harmony, remembering the importance of Christmas Day. Suddenly, some noise made Faust wake up. At that moment, Faust understood how wrong his way of acting was. He felt guilty for having caused suffering to the one who loved him so much: his family. And decided to return home.
