NAME:

the mystery of bicycles

Dino is gobbling up his breakfast.
“I want to be the first one to the Hideout this morning,” he explains to Mom.
– We ride a bike to the camp to have a picnic at lunchtime.
“I made you a sandwich.” Mom smiles. He grabs his lunch and runs off to get his bike in the garden.
- What is it? - He says surprised. His bike is gone!
In her place is a different bike. – But this is Giro's bike! – he says, shaking his head.

As his bike was gone, he takes Giro's and pedals away to his hiding place.
All his friends were there, chatting excitedly.
“I don't understand,” says Zebra Zig. – Our bicycles have disappeared, but in their place, we found Silvia and Babi's bicycles!
The same thing had happened to everyone.
Nobody could solve the mystery.
“Well, we all got our bikes back,” says Dino Dino, taking the lead. – So, let's leave it at that.
At dinner, Dino tells Mom and Dad about the mystery of bicycles. They look at each other and burst out laughing.
– You don't know what day it is, Dino? It's April 1st: April Fools' Day! All the moms and dads changed your bikes last night!
- No! exclaimed Dino. He had no idea adults could be so mischievous and funny.
Happy April Fool's Day!
