the zebra family band

Daddy Zebra came home from work.
“Hey,” he says to his family, “there's going to be a talent show in our village! Shall we sign up to play a song?
– You mean the four of us? – Zag asks.
– Of course, dear, why not? The Zebra Family Band! What about? – Ask Mom.
– I vote yes! - Shouts Zig.
- Me either! exclaims Zag.
- Come on! – Zig and Zag, they say together, and everyone laughs.


- And we could dress in those fancy clothes we found in the basement! - says Zag.
She and Zig loved it when it was raining the other day.
'It's an amazing idea,' says Dad, 'but it's all women's clothes. I will not wear a dress! - Dad laughs.
Mom thinks for a few seconds and says:
– I could do something.
- Yea! A pirate costume! Zig gets carried away.
“Let's see,” Dad says, embarrassed. – Let's play some songs and choose what we want for the show.
