The cougar's gestation lasts about 95 days. At the end of this period, one to four puppies are born weighing, on average, 440 grams. The puppies are spotted, but at around six months they start to have the same fur as their parents. Up to a year and a half, they have the care and protection of their mother.
Like most cats, the cougar takes care of its soft fur with daily sessions of daily licking. […] This animal likes to walk alone and walk when the sun is already setting, but it never strays far from the chosen place to live. The cougar doesn't appreciate many visits and keeps her house well guarded.
The destruction of the cougar's habitat makes it difficult for them to search for food and a place to live. Therefore, she often risks appearing near villages in search of food, especially near houses where chickens, ducks and pigs are raised. Most of the time, it ends up being killed by breeders, who come to the defense of their animals.
Life on Earth depends on the balance of fauna and flora. Governments need to provide education and conservation plans. And we can make small contributions to defending not just the cougar, but the entire environment in which it and other animals live. Dispose of the garbage we produce correctly, avoid wasting water and seek knowledge about the lives of too many species to interfere as little as possible in their environment, for example, is a little bit of what we can to do.
