NAME:
Read the following fragment from the book “The dark boys”:
I was an earth colored boy. However, I will never know where the real grandparents of my grandparents' grandparents came from. In this, we Brazilian boys are different from the brown boys of Guatemala, Mexico, Central America or the entire Andean plateau. When the white man arrived in my land, he found boys with the same face as all the boys who lived in the humid forests of America or in the high mountains of the Andes. Then they brought the blacks from Africa, who didn't want to come. And the Arabs and other people from Asia also came. And they all got mixed up, unregistered and unregistered.
And here we are all the color of our land and we all become Brazilians.
