On the playground

The hippopotamus Horacio wakes up smiling today. His friends will meet at the playground.
He talks about the slide with Mom and Dad over breakfast.
– It's sooooo loud and scary when we climb up there! – he says, looking at the ceiling. – And then we have to sit down and let go…and whoosh! There you go! And the wind passes through my ears and tickles my belly. – He starts with a giggle and is soon laughing – HUUU, HO-HO-HO! HUUU, HO-HO-HO! – Horacio is panting, patting his belly. Mom smiles and gives him a quick hug.

- I'm glad it's so much fun for you, my sweetie. Do you want to take this pack of cookies to share with your little friends?
– Oh, yeah! – Horacio opens a big smile.
He picks up his jacket and cap while Mom puts the cookies in a bag. In the playground, Horacio meets his friends on the slide. Everyone is laughing, screaming and having so much fun.
He runs to the slide and waits for his turn to climb. When he reaches the top, he shouts as loud as he can:
– Long live Horace, king of the Universe! HUUU, HO-HO-HO! HUUU, HO-HO-HO! – Horacio laughs out loud.
- My belly! he yells as he slides fast down the slide. The slides are as fun as we remember! - He laughs.
– The cookies are also delicious! – adds Babi.
