NAME:
Once, when the lion was sleeping, a little mouse walked on its back. This soon woke up the lion, which grabbed the animal with its huge paw and opened its big jaw to swallow it.
– Pardon, king of beasts, cried the mouse. Let me go, I won't bother you anymore. Who knows if one day I won't be able to pay you this favor?
The lion laughed a lot when he thought about the possibility of the mouse helping him with something. After all, he released him.
Some time later, the lion fell into a trap. The hunters, who wanted to take him alive to the king, tied him to a tree while they went to arrange for a wagon to transport him. At that moment, the mouse appeared. Seeing the predicament the lion was in, in an instant he gnawed the ropes that held him to the tree.
- Didn't I say that maybe one day I could help you? He remembered the mouse.
