NAME:
Tiago, upset, approached his mother, saying that he had a very serious problem and on the day when Daniela, the prettiest girl in the class, was going to visit him. Dona Iara tried to calm him down, explaining that many boys had gone through the same problem.
When the mother, considering the problem resolved, was walking away, Tiago returned to the charge:
- If you think she is convincing me, she was wrong. And don't slip away, because my problem isn't solved yet.
She almost laughed. Willing to continue the conversation with her son, Dona Iara approached him:
– All right, James. Let's solve your problem!
- Like?
- I do not know. Maybe powdering… or something like that.
- You are crazy?
– A piece of tape or Band-Aid.
- It got worse.
– Do you want me to take you to the doctor?
– It's not that serious either!
– How about taking a sheet and drilling two holes?
– Joking, mother? I'm suffering!
She did not answer. Silence. Decision moment.
– Do you want me to solve it? (showing thumbs up) I'll get it right. Come here and stop it at once!
At that moment, a shrill ringing sound invaded the room where they were talking, interrupting them.
– Chiiii… It's her!
Silence.
Again the annoying bell.
– Shall I go there and tell you you're not?… That you're not well and can't do the job?…
He widened his eyes and replied hastily:
- No way! Not for the world!
Then he went to the bathroom, approached the mirror, and looked at himself dejectedly. His round face, full of health, appeared reflected in the crystal. And there, right on the tip of his nose, very red, round and showing off, a huge, first pimple to grace the tip. Like a little colored volcano; at the tip of the stew and round red spine, a small yellow tip. Pretty even, if not for his nose.
Tiago took a deep breath, lightly stroked the ledge and walked towards the door.
– Pimple or no pimple, here I go.
And it was. Carrying with him his enormous problem, a first and protruding pimple on the tip of his nose. Along with the problem, a great delight: doing class work with the most beloved girl in the class.
