NAME:
There was once a modest and hardworking tailor who made suits very well and who had many orders placed by the most demanding inhabitants of the region. It was summer, and there were a lot of flies buzzing around him, harassing and interrupting his work at all times.
The tailor could not stand the nuisance and his irritation was such that without thinking he gave them a tremendous blow with one of the fine fabrics he used in the preparation of a costume. The blow was so accurate that it eliminated seven flies at once.
The tailor, upon noticing the result of his coup, was surprised at himself and decided to make a very costume. special, made of metallic canvas and even embroidered a shield on the chest that qualified as "Mata Seven", feeling very proud.
With his elegant costume, the tailor went to run the cities and towns displaying the bearing of a knight, thus creating his reputation as brave and invincible. As soon as they saw him they were afraid of him, thinking that the terrible warrior had mercilessly eliminated seven of his enemies at the same time and no one dared ask the reason for such a feat.
The tailor's fame reached the ears of the king, who ordered him to be called and offered him a great reward and his daughter's hand in marriage, if he managed to eliminate two terrible giants who were terrorizing the entire northern region of the kingdom, destroying everything they found in their path. It was necessary to act quickly, as they were getting closer and closer to the castle.
The valiant tailor promised to finish off the terrible giants easily and marched in their search. In a few days, he found the giants sleeping peacefully under a huge tree, took the opportunity to climb its branches and launch from there stones on the head of one of them, to the point of almost awakening him, at which point he would be angry without knowing who had hit him and where the blows.
Indeed, the brave tailor's plan worked as he had planned, because the giant believed that it had been the his companion who had thrown the stones while he was sleeping, which provoked a tremendous argument and quarrel between them. They fought for more than seven hours, throwing one another on the ground, causing as much noise as if there was an earthquake.
Then, the fight was so terrible, the two giants fainted, falling dead, side by side. The brave tailor climbed down from the tree and made sure that the devastating giants wouldn't bother anyone again.
He showed his fame and bravery climbing over their bodies, proving that his title of “Mata Sete” was a reality…
