Clement the owl goes hunting in the woods. On the menu: sweet orchard mice and some fruit. It flies, but even though it is night it is very light in the woods.
What happens? Orchard rats feast on beak-licking. With the moonlight, it is impossible to approach without being seen. On a branch, Clement watches them.
He breathes so hard that Jojo, a brave orchard mouse, hears him. Panic among the orchard rats! But Jojo has an idea…
– Mr. Owl I propose an exchange: we have a lot to eat here. If you promise not to attack us, you can have dinner with us.
Rose, who is not afraid of owls, adds:
– Besides, we are so many that there are banquets every day! Clement finds the exchange tempting. He accepts and with his new friends, he finally learns to try something different from the gentle orchard rats.
