“The boy who became a snail” dives into the universe of insects and birds, flowers and trees, freedom and fabulation to search for the plot of insignificance that gave rise to the poetic vein of the boy who would come to be poet. In the backyard, lost in the exuberance of a world of wings and leaves, the boy apprehends the dreamlike exuberance of butterflies and dahlias, insects and ipe. The discovery that a river is, for some, a cove and that the look of a bird is different from that of a city.
