For about two decades, environmentalists have been warning that fresh water is a scarce resource on our planet. At the beginning of 2015, the Southeast of Brazil has a clear perception of this reality, due to the drought that affects it. Other regions or states in Brazil, such as the Northeast, have experienced the problem for a long time, and even the Amazon and Pantanal have suffered, sporadically, from drought. In addition to the climate issue, experts point to other culprits for the problem of water shortages: governments and citizens in general. So many people have said that one of the strengths of the current drought is that we learn to ________ it and begin to treat our water and water resources more carefully.
