It's a literary art. Poets combine words, tinker with their meaning, work a lot on language, sound and rhythm to make one think, fly in the imagination. Poems may or may not be rhymed and are usually written in verse (the “lines” of the poem). It is even difficult to define poetic writing because, over time, the way of writing poetry has changed a lot. And the themes? Love, friendship and joy are common themes in poetry; but there are also poems that talk about war, unemployment, prejudice and even stomachache… Everything is a reason to poetize, that is, to write verses.

Question 1 - One of the following passages presents a conjunction that expresses the idea of addition. Identify it:
( ) “But what is poetry?”
( ) “The poems can be rhymed or not and are usually written in verse […]”

Question 2 - The additive conjunction, which makes up the passage identified above, links:
