This is the first book in a series (composed so far in four volumes, with the fifth promised to arrive in Brazil at the end of March 2020). The early part of the story of the peculiar – especially the story of the young Jacob Portman – has even turned into a movie. But it's a fact that the book is much more interesting – I myself was a little afraid of the suspense that builds through the pages as Jacob begins to discover who the peculiar ones are. Starting the series or continuing to read the other books (if you've already read the first one) is a good way to entertain your days at home and still immerse yourself in a completely fantastic world.
