the chicken ride

This morning, Odete and her chicken friends were in the mood for pawing.
“We're not moldy chickens,” shouted Odete, bouncing around the chicken coop. Come on girls, let's get some fresh air!
– Let's go – replied Bicudinha and Bicuda. We love adventures too!
The three chickens came out cackling and soon arrived at the large field on the neighboring site. Suddenly, Bicuda and Bicudinha stopped, their crests raised in surprise. In front of them was a scarecrow in a hat, dressed in black, standing calmly.


“He's the lucky one,” exclaimed Bicuda. – He stays with open arms all day, while we have to lay eggs!
“It's not just that,” added Bicudinha. – We have to obey the rooster and sleep early, while he…
