One of the facilities of modern life is called remote control. On television, for example, he lets us change the channel – or turn the volume down – without us having to leave that delicious bed. Well… But how does such “miraculous” equipment work?! Communication between the control and the TV is done through the so-called “infrared technology”. When we press certain buttons on the device, we send signals to the television, which, through a sensor, picks up these frequencies, understands the command and performs the desired task. The sad story behind this facility is that remote controls were invented in the 1940s during World War II primarily so that they could detonate bombs.
