CHIVE

ORIGINATING FROM THE EAST, IT IS A PLANT USED MAINLY IN CUISINE. IT IS ROBUST AND ITS LEAVES ARE CYLINDRICAL, HOLLOW, OF INTENSE GREEN.

THE BURST GIVES AT THE BEGINNING OF SPRING. ITS FLOWERS ARE BLUE, SERVING FORAGE FOR HONEY BEES.

CHIVES LIKE A LOT OF SUN, RICH SOIL AND A LOT OF WATER. IT GROWS FAST, FORMING BULLETS.

IT IS MAINLY USED ON FISH, BUT IT ALSO GIVES A SPECIAL TOUCH ON OMELETTES, SOUPS, CHEESES AND SALADS.
