Preserving the environment is essential to maintain the health of the planet and all living beings that live on it. To celebrate the effort to protect natural resources,

Human beings can only survive thanks to nature. After all, we use animals and plants to feed us, water to drink and bathe, and many other resources that we don't even realize.

In the fight to save the planet, everyone can participate. It's never too early or too late to do your part. Separating recyclable waste from organic (non-recyclable) is a quick and simple measure that helps to reduce the amount of material that ends up in landfills by up to 40%.

Suggested activities for the 2019 Environment Project

In this 21st century, there are many voices that are raised in defense of the environment, claiming that if we do not change our attitude, in a little while, we will lose the conditions for survival. That's because our lives depend on clean water, clean air, fertile soil and a mild climate that will disappearing by the criminal action of those who live in the present, without thinking about the sustainability of the Planet.

In the process of environmental preservation, each human being can contribute, taking care not to degrade the Earth. Sometimes a simple gesture makes a big difference. For example: if instead of throwing garbage on the floor, if each person puts it in a bag, in a dumpster, and then, discard it in an appropriate place, in a short time, we will have a considerable improvement in the quality of the medium environment.

It is common for people to blame the authorities for not ensuring compliance with environmental laws, which facilitates the action of exploiters of our mineral, vegetable and water resources. In this regard, a lot must be done, as the damage caused to the environment is irreparable. But just complaining and transferring responsibility, or looking for the culprits will not contribute anything to environmental preservation. In addition, it is necessary that each one does their part, concretely demonstrating through actions and examples the commitment they carry out in search of a better quality of life.

Speaking like that, it sounds easy, but it's not. First, people need to be aware that they do not own the planet and that they depend on it for the survival of humans and other living beings. Not being owners of the land, they cannot want to dominate it, on the contrary, they need to learn to live with it. As soon as we are aware that the land does not depend on us, but we are the ones who depend from it, we will contribute more effectively to solving the serious problems that plague and degrade the environment environment. Unfortunately, despite efforts to advance the process of environmental education, we still pollute the air we breathe, degrade the soil that feeds us, and contaminate the water we drink.

Therefore, the challenge is great, since many attitudes and measures come from the conscience of each one. If each person, even with small actions and in a localized way, does their part, a lot can change, despite the greed of the groups companies that struggle to increase their assets, exploiting without any criteria the mineral, plant, animal, water and others. If each one does not throw garbage on the ground, does not pollute rivers and streams, does not cause fires or cuts trees, especially on the slopes of rivers, we will make a beautiful contribution to preservation environmental.

2019 environment project for early series

MAIN GOAL:

  • This project aims to promote the involvement of students, teachers, parents and the community in defense of the sustainability of our planet.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES:

  • Educate to achieve a loving bond with the Earth, not to explore it, but to love it.
  • Living in a pleasant environment where one can respect the other and everyone respects nature.
  • Understand the meaning of being a conscious and participative citizen in actions to preserve the environment.
  • Adopting constructive personal attitudes and social behaviors, based on the practice of virtues, contributing to the construction of a fair society in a healthy environment.
  • Rethinking and evaluating daily attitudes and their consequences on the environment in which we live.
  • Awaken interest in different types of reading.
    Produce mathematical texts and stories using subjects and data on environmental issues.
  • Encourage changes in the practice of attitudes and the formation of new habits regarding the use of natural resources.
  • Encourage reflection on the ethical responsibility of our species and planet to ensure a sustainable environment.
  • Participate in social actions that rescue human values ​​such as respect for life, responsibility, solidarity, friendship and ethics.
  • Involve the school community and family in this process of fraternal relationships and environmental preservation.
  • Knowing the reality of the classroom and school yard for collective search for solutions... (waste or saving of paper, correct disposal of garbage, faucets open or closed, healthy or unhealthy snack, preservation of trees or destruction, etc.)
  • Differentiate between separating, recycling and reusing.

2019 Environment Project for 2nd year

Realized that the school is an institution of knowledge construction and a supporter in the process of awareness, this project presents proposals for classes to be developed at Escola Olavo Bilac with the theme Environment. Emphasizing that the balance of nature is essential for life on earth and the school has to be engaged in finding solutions for its preservation.

Subjects worked

  • Portuguese language;
  • Math;
  • Sciences;
  • Geography;
  • Art.

MAIN GOAL:

  • Make children aware of the importance of the environment and how man interferes in this environment, involving the entire community school and the surroundings where we live to think about solutions to current problems and the construction of a future desired by all.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES:

  • Show how human beings participate in the transformation of the environment in which they live, also showing their negative interferences and what they have caused to nature;
  • Awaken respect for the Environment, showing the importance of its preservation, as well as the need to reuse garbage through recycling;
  • Understand that recycling brings countless benefits to society, reducing the volume of waste sent to landfills and helping to keep the city clean, in addition to promoting economy of raw material;
  • Take the student to recycle scraps found in the environment in which they live in workshops;

JUSTIFICATION

Educating is on a new level, whose core is the development and integral fulfillment of the person and the citizen. This is what supports the education proposal of the Olavo Bilac Municipal School, whose mission is to “promote excellence in education, producing and disseminating the knowledge, committed to the integral formation of the ethical citizen, in search of sustainable regional development and a more just and humane society.” With this proposal, we understand that it is very important to work on the Environment, seeking knowledge and awareness of the children who will be our future citizens. Because when a child learns and understands the importance of preserving and caring for the environment in which they live, they will certainly be a responsible citizen and committed to the society of which it is a part, being able to establish relationships, interact, transform and re-elaborate in this environment and in others realities.

METHODOLOGY:

1st class

  • Slide presentation of the importance of nature's resources, water, air, soil and sunlight;
  • Direct a survey that shows the importance of nature's main resources;
  • Presentation of a song on the theme (Planeta Água – Guilherme Arantes) on Youtube right after creating a discussion and asking him to make a drawing that characterizes the song.

2nd class

  • Show how man's interference in nature happens;
  • Analyze the negative interference of man in the environment in which he lives;
  • Start a debate on the different ways to preserve the environment;
  • Searches on websites for games and games on the internet on the subject;
  • Typing information that students consider important about the topic, searched on Google.

3rd class

  • Discuss the different types of destruction, aggression and degradation of the environment and how to avoid this (listing their names for the students and asking them to do a search for texts and images);
  • Ask them to research the degradation time of the bottle, tire, can and bag.
  • Motivate the child's creativity by showing works made with recycled materials (search the internet for examples and choose one to be done);
  • Production of a text about the environment made at broffice writer;
  • Create slides about what we've learned about the topic (environmental degradation and protection and recycling)

ASSESSMENT:

  • The evaluation will take place throughout the development of the project through the observation of performance and interest of students in the development of the proposed tasks, productions and report on the activities.

CULMINANCE:

  • One of the culminating moments of the project will be during the cultural week.
