Portuguese Activity: Prepositions and Interjections

Portuguese activity on usage of the main prepositions and interjections focused on the sixth year of elementary school. Divided into ten sentences with preposition and ten with interjection, the student is asked to recognize how to use the preposition in sentences with gaps. The most used prepositions are

TO - FROM - WITH - BY - IN - TO

1) Use the most suitable preposition for the following sentence! Come on?

1. I built a _____wooden house.

Interjections are words that demonstrate feelings, emotions or physical sensations. They usually come with an exclamation mark.
See the example: Ouch! I hurt my hand. (Expresses sensation of pain.)

2) Rewrite the interjection of each sentence next to the sentence:

1. Oops! Be careful not to get hurt.

2. Gosh! How hot it was yesterday.

3. My grandmother made such a good candy…ah!

4. Hey! How cold it will be tomorrow.

5. Psst! Please come here.

6. There! I'm very happy today.
