– What do we do with seven giant pumpkins? – Dino asks.
“I asked the other villagers who cultivated the others if we could use them for a special run,” says Grandpa.
- A race? You are kidding? - he asks.
- No way. Get on your bike and ask all the residents to meet us at the ferry dock at noon – Grandpa says mysteriously.
When everyone is gathered, grandpa announces:
– Welcome to the Great Pumpkins Boat Race! Please help prepare these giant pumpkins. After that, the race will begin!

Before long, they stir on the water.
Each child enters a pumpkin and takes an oar.
They look to the distant finish line.
– One, two, three… now! - Grandpa shouts, and the children paddle like crazy.
The hippopotamus Horacio can only make his pumpkin go around in a circle. He fires off his hippopotamus laugh.
Zig's zebra falls from her pumpkin and rises again.
– Quick, Zag! – she shouts to her twin sister, who is going really fast!
Giro the giraffe is sunk.
Dino crosses the finish line first.
- Alive! I won! – he exclaims.
Residents all celebrate.
– What a crazy race! - Dino yells.
