THE natural landscape it is one where there was no interference by human action, that is, it is a place where natural elements are found, such as trees, mountains, rivers, glaciers, deserts, among others. This context is increasingly threatened, as even in the most inhospitable places there has already been some kind of transformation resulting from human action. An example of this is the deforestation of the Amazon Forest.
Natural landscapes are undergoing various changes, more and more routine, and so are losing their natural forms, their natural evolution. We must pay attention to this, as it is something we depend on to survive, we need all the natural elements, all of us its particular places, the trees that make up the forests, the glaciers in Antarctica, the rivers full of water and without pollution. Each natural aspect has its specific function, often acting so that the natural cycle takes place in an ideal way.
It is noteworthy that men are to blame for the occurrence of many natural disasters, because pollution, fires, deforestation, among others collaborate for them to happen, such as the melting of the Arctic and Antarctic glaciers that happened with the global warming of the planet. With that, the land will have impacts, namely, shortage of fresh water, floods, extinction of places and animals, disappearance of coral reefs, return of lethal diseases and many other damages irreversible.

As we described above, if there is any change in the natural landscape by humans, it is called a modified, humanized or artificial landscape. Therefore, when a man deforests a place, he will be modifying that landscape, whether to build a house or to build a road.
Remember that each person will describe a landscape in a particular way, because each of us has a individual look, we are different from each other and that is why we present different characteristics from the others. Therefore, I can look at a forest and say that it is beautiful, that there are many trees in it, that it is a calm environment, etc. My friend already said that the place is ugly, presenting a lifeless forest, a humid place. This example distinguishes how people have their perspectives.
Both the natural landscape and the modified landscape are classified in two ways, namely:
Static Landscape: this landscape can be related to a still, stagnant environment, such as a waterfall (natural landscape) or a building (modified landscape).
Dynamic Landscape: this landscape is associated with dynamic environments, such as animals running in the forest (natural landscape) or the movement of cars in a street (modified landscape).
An activity for students to be able to differentiate between disasters that were caused by the human “help” and those that are in fact natural disasters, where society has no control over they. A disaster caused by human action that you teacher can use as an example is the rupture of the mistletoe dam, which left many dead.
Suggest that students get together in pairs or groups and select two of these disasters, one natural and one man-made, and draw or paste pictures of them.
After that, discuss the topic in the classroom, which can be in a round of conversation or work presentation.
