Have you ever thought about taking a trip back in time? What if, on top of that, it was made by train? This is a possible dream for anyone visiting the Vale Museum, Vila Velha Railway Museum.
In its building is the historical collection of the Railroad from Vitória to Minas, inaugurated in 1904 and still in operation today. The exhibition is permanent and has a railway model, documents, photos, equipment and working tools of railway workers, as well as environments and scenarios of yesteryear. In addition, there is a Maria Fumaça, a real steam locomotive acquired by the museum in 1945 on site!
The tour goes from the beginning of the construction of the railway, passing through old railway stations and reaching the present day – an interesting program for the whole family.
