THE wind energy it is one of the renewable energies these days because it does not cause great environmental impact

It's the wind being transformed into kinetic energy which then turns into electricity. THE wind energy it has been used since ancient times for pumping water, grinding grain and for boats.
The United Nations (UN) has made wind energy a priority to encourage investments in green energy. THE wind energy it is also called the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM).
Dominant energy methods are criticized for the bad impact they have on the environment. Thermoelectric plants throw dirt into the air, contributing to the greenhouse effect by burning charcoal, oil and wood.
Hydroelectric power plants lead as the most used energy source in Brazil.
They are large turbines that generate the wind energy. These turbines are known as wind turbines. It has shapes of weathervanes and also mills.
These turbines are usually installed where there is a high incidence of wind.
Its functionality is to transform the energetic kinetics into wind energy or mechanics. Winds are conversion currents in our planet's atmosphere.
And which are driven by thermal energy created by the sun. Wind is solar energy and if there were no sun, this energy would not exist.
The wind, which would be the movement of air, arises on the surface of the earth where there is soil and water. The heat from the sun quickly heats the soil where the water and heated air are lighter.
And in this way, the air rises. At night, the air over the water is warmer than afterwards, it is replaced by cooler air from the ground.

Here in our country, the wind energy started to be produced in 1992 in Fernando de Noronha, where a wind turbine was installed.
Today, in Brazil there are 298 wind farms, which leaves our country with the title of sector leader in the South American market. Daily production supplies about 13 million people, generating 2.9 megawatts daily.
THE wind energy it represents 3.5% of energy in Brazil and the Ministry of Mines and Energy's goal is to reach 11%. Rio Grande do Sul leads the production of wind energy. In second place is Ceará and in third, Bahia.
The consumption of wind energy in a household it is approximately 166 kWh/month. Only one turbine can supply 300 homes.

The Aeolian name comes from the Latin Aeolicus but the term comes from Greek mythology, referring to the Greek god Aeolus. When there was the oil crisis, the wind energy gained importance. The largest producer of wind energy in the world is China, followed by the United States and Germany. And the biggest wind turbine in the world is in Hawaii, it has 20 floors.
