the elephant that wanted everything

When Hermes was born, he became the biggest elephant in Africa. And wherever he went, everyone trembled with fear. Even the lion, the king of the forest, dared not come close.
Hermes, taking advantage of the situation, expelled his own elephants from the lake, which was now all his. Agata, the leader of the herd, before leaving, said:

– You're bad, Hermes. Very bad!
As time went by, the Elephant took over everything in the vicinity. He realized that he needed to demonstrate to everyone who was in charge there and had an idea! He ordered the monkeys to make a king's crown for him. Then with two huge stones, he made a throne.
Now the king of the forest was Hermes, no longer the lion. This is life, he thought.
That night, at the edge of the lake, there was only the moon, the stars and the trees around. Then a strange feeling came over Hermes.
With everything so quiet, not even the noise of the crickets could be heard. Elephant Hermes realized that he was totally alone.
He clung to his crown and waited for the day to dawn.
Hermes realized how bad it had been. But, now how to make the animals not be afraid of him? He threw the crown away and decided to go through the forest calling out to everyone desperately.
The animals talked to each other. Many were suspicious of Hermes' total repentance, but decided he deserved a second chance.
The animals and birdsong returned to the lakeside. And no one was afraid of Hermes anymore, who was still the biggest animal in the forest.
Gradually he won the friendship of everyone, especially Jessica who he wanted to marry.
Now, around the lake, everyone was very happy.
