NAME:
It was a very small star, it lived lost, there in the sky, at the beginning of galaxies full of stars. One day, the little star woke up very sad, looking at the sun, and stayed there starring her thoughts.
– What good is my shine? I'm so small, there are so many beautiful stars shining in the sky. See the morning star, the three Marys, all important stars. If they suddenly disappear from the sky, everyone will be worried. I do not. Nobody knows I exist, I think I'll stop shining.
And each day was less shining. It looked like a firefly in the woods. I no longer paid attention to sunrise and sunset. He didn't care about the phases of the moon, it didn't matter whether it was a full moon, a new moon, a quarter moon, or a waning.
She just wanted to sleep in infinity. Until one day the sun that takes great care of the stars became concerned about the weakness of its brightness and sent one of its rays to talk to her.
The lightning was silent for a long time.
Then he said smiling:
– What would heaven be like if all the little stars thought like that? The brightness of the sky depends on the sum of all the little stars. All are important. No light can go out from the sky. The star's destiny is to shine!!!
The sunbeam was gone, and that night, when darkness came, the little star looked up at the sky and saw all her little sisters shining, forming a huge carpet of light. And smiling, modestly said:
– I will shine again, my sisters.
And the little star shone and even today it shines tiny, in the immensity of the dark sky happily.
