Unfortunately, women over time have suffered greatly. However, thanks to feminist struggles today we have several benefits and even the International Women's Day. After all, women, at the beginning of their trajectory, were seen as beings who were not even considered as a citizen.
women's day is celebrated annually in March 8th, date that marks the celebration of the social, political and economic achievements of women over the years, being adopted by the United Nations and, consequently, by several countries.

As it is a celebration that is present in our daily lives, it is necessary to explore this date so that children acquire new knowledge and value for women.
Women's Day Project
Since 1975, March 8 has been commemorated by the United Nations as International Women's Day in honor of all women. textile workers from a factory in New York went on strike, occupying the factory, to demand a reduction in the working day from 16 hours a day to 10 hours.
These women received less than a third of the men's wages, were locked up in the factory, set fire to it, killing about 130 women. Thus, on this day, throughout the world, women's day of reflection and struggle for their rights is celebrated.
The woman, with her constant struggle, was rescuing her rights and occupying her place in society, standing out in politics, sports, justice and others, assuming more and more her social independence.
The project will start with the dissemination of:
Students will carry out text productions, make souvenirs with poems and messages.

It will be done through the participation and assimilation of the theme proposed by the project.
Faced with the concern that women themselves, past times were subordinated by society, by men, thus they suffered great losses. A figure who works in support and family welfare, was always behind, with unfair wages, many times without receiving anything, through this that one day women united for their respect, the right to their work and the life. And that day was March 8, 1910, in Denmark, the date that marks the honor of women.
In addition, the Maria da penha Law was enforced, which aims to protect the rights of women in the family, in society. Also in 1932, where women had their labor rights guaranteed in front of society. Through this, our school is pleased to work on this theme, which aims to better inform our students the importance of women in society, and their rights, such as in the family environment or in the professionalism.

Being a woman is not about having the forms of sculpture,
In the outline of the profile, in the fascinating body,
The beauty that one day time transfigures
And a dazzled look attracts you at every moment.
Being a woman is not just about having the exciting grace,
The absorbing spell, lust and tenderness;
Being a woman is not having provocative flesh
The infernal voluptuousness that drags and disfigures…
To be a woman is to have this immortal beauty in your soul
Who knows how to think with all the subtlety
And in the very ideal, rare virtue achieves…
It's having, simple and pure, frank feelings…
And, even in the glow of her white hair,
Dream like a woman, feel like a child!
