O Black conscience day is celebrated in November 20th all over the country. The date honors the Zombie, a slave who was the leader of Quilombo dos Palmares. Zombie died on November 20, 1695.
The objective of Black Awareness Day is to reflect on the importance of the African people and culture, as well as the impact they had on the development of the identity of Brazilian culture.
1st Stage - Initially, a discussion with the students will be held in the classroom, regarding the topic: The Black Consciousness – Image and identity.
2nd Stage - Students will be organized into groups of three and instructed to do a research in the internet, about videos that refer to prejudice, racial discrimination or plurality cultural.
3rd Step – After choosing the film, students will watch the video and then the group will be asked to produce a text, based on the reading they made of the video they watched. The text must be typed and saved, on the computer, to be used later.
4th Step - At another time, the students, under the guidance and monitoring of the teacher, must transform the text that was typed by the students, in a hypertext, creating links of some words or expressions contained in the text and relating them to pages of internet sites.
5th Step – To complete the activity, the groups must socialize with the others, the result of the study and the knowledge acquired by them.
The evaluation of this project will take place throughout the development of your activities and at the end, by everyone involved, when we will be able to have a real idea of the goals that were or were not achieved.
We will use the participation, observation and analysis of group and individual work, the commitment to activities, exposure of the themes developed and integration as resources evaluative.
