Real blood is made up of three types of cells: red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets. Each has its function. Red blood cells, also known as red blood cells, are responsible for giving oxygen a ride. The air we breathe goes into our lungs and from there it is carried to the rest of the body thanks to red blood cells.
Leukocytes, in turn, defend the organism against attack by foreign bodies, mainly bacteria. They are also called white blood cells and are divided into B lymphocyte, which collects and stores information about the enemy, and T lymphocyte, which goes into action and tries to destroy it. Diseases such as AIDS impede the action of these lymphocytes, which impairs the body's defense.
Platelets work to prevent bleeding. When we cut ourselves, they quickly act so that the wound is closed and that famous 'shell' is formed, which is very important for the reconstruction of the cut skin.
