In recent times, working on this theme represents a challenge for many teachers:
In addition to the children who are raised by grandparents or aunts, there are more and more family structures that deviate from the traditional. This is the case of parents who separate, remarry and take their children from their first, second or third union with them. Suddenly, the child realizes that he has not just one mother, but several: the biological one, the stepmother, the new girlfriend of the father… It is essential to focus the work on the development of affectivity and leave the person's choice free honored. The ideal is that each student has in his imagination the figure of the mother as the woman who takes care of him, showing that the maternal image is in many things that surround him. The teacher can work the date in a different way, so that the students perceive that the mother figure is in many, no matter if it is the real or foster mother, mother-grandmother or mother-aunt.
Not to mention the father, who is often also a mother. Thus, it takes a lot of judgment and common sense when planning these activities, as they touch very deeply on the students' sensitivity. We need to think about things that are really meaningful and adequate to the reality in our community. Create something that can be valued by students and families! Therefore, we built this project in order to work on all the aspects mentioned, reinforcing that the mother is the one who takes care of the child, who cares and raises!

we can forget that among our students there is always one or the other who does not live with their mother, being the responsibility of the grandmother or aunt, or even of others
people. It's up to us to motivate our children and show them reasons to participate in the project.
