NAME:
A long time ago, a sleeping man lived in a village.
One day he went out hunting and found gnomes playing in the forest. at the same moment they became friends and they offered him a drink. As soon as he drank, the man got sleepy and slept.
Upon waking, the trees in the forest seemed much taller. She ran a hand over her face and was startled. His hair and beard were huge!
After some time she went back to the village. When he got there, he didn't recognize anyone. She had nowhere to go and wandered the streets.
After a few days, an old woman approached and said that it had been twenty years since he had disappeared into the forest.
The gnomes' drink was magic and he had slept for twenty years in one night!
Inspired by the short story “Rip Van Winkle” by Washington Irving.
