Objective:

The Circus Day Project for Elementary Education was designed with the aim of taking children of this age group, a little of the experience of this rich world of the circus, and the circus arts as a source of knowledge, providing a playful and diversified.. Planting dreams, bringing joy, creating fantasies and expanding our students' cognitive knowledge through pedagogical practices associated with the theme "Circus", making our classroom a real Show. The circus is one of the oldest and most complete popular and artistic manifestations, because during the show, under a colorful canvas, they have music, theater, dance, choreographies, specific costumes that delight the audience; a magic spectacle that makes even today the joy of not only children, but also adults

Main goal

Provide the student through study, research, analysis, games, activities and playful games, learning significant in several thematic axes, applying, developing and awakening the knowledge and appreciation of art circus.

  • Develop the student's artistic potential through activities;
  • Build models highlighting the theme "The Circus"
  • Produce texts, descriptive, narrative, and dissertations, from images, videos, television;
  • Recognize the circus as an art;
  • Recognize the different characters in the circus;
  • Perform dramatization of circus stories;
  • Know the history of the circus;
  • Meet the clowns and circus artists of yesterday and today;
  • Perform games and characterization of circus characters;
  • Carry out various activities in different thematic axes with the theme "Circus",
  • Conduct research on circus art;
  • Characterization of circus characters;
  • Book making through stories or music highlighting the Circus theme;
  • Promote art workshops;
  • Working the books with circus stories like: “O Circo” by Roseana Murray

The school is responsible for inviting circus artists to perform at the school during the project week.
