The wood heats up often

Daddy Dino is wearing heavy gloves. Next to it are a bunch of logs.
“It's time to cut these logs into pieces to burn in the fireplace this winter,” he says.
– Can I cut it too? - Wants to know Dino.
- It is not heavy and dangerous work, with a sharp axe. But you can put the pieces together in the wood pile.
He carefully stacks each piece in the pile so it doesn't fall or roll over.

“The wood is a lot heavier than I thought,” Dino says to Dad after the tenth piece. He is sweating.
“They say wood heats twice: First, when it's cut, and then when it burns,” Dad says, wiping the sweat off his face.
“Wait a minute,” Dino says, “our wood warmed the villagers when they felled the tree last winter. Now you're warming up as you cut it. It's warming me up as I carry the mounds. And then it'll warm us up when it burns. That's four times, not twice! - Dino laughs.
– It's very sad that the tree fell, but now it will warm us up a lot – Dad laughs.
