We selected in this post several Text Production Activities 4 year, ready to print and apply to students of the Elementary School.
Mastering the production of texts of different genres enables citizen participation in formal and informal spheres.

In everyday activities, we often need to write messages, instructions, emails, comments on social networks. Writing also allows us to record our experiences in diaries, share them through letters and emails, and also express our subjectivity in poetry, short stories, chronicles.
Text production is a social language practice. This means that to actively participate in society, as citizens of written culture, we need to be able to write texts. According to Kátia Lomba Bräkling, specialist in Portuguese Language teaching, “in various circumstances of life we write texts, for different interlocutors [to who?], with different purposes [for what?], organized in the most diverse genres [how to write], to circulate in different social spaces [colloquial, formal etc.]".
Because one of the goals of the school is to train citizens capable of using writing effectively and who are able to take the floor, including in writing, to actively participate in the different spheres of communication existing in the society.

Once upon a time there were two brothers who were living very poorly and with no means of earning money until the eldest said to the other: “Oh brother, I remembered something. Let's go into this world of Christ preaching lies for money - one of us will go ahead, and then the other will confirm what the other said."
They combined the lies they had to tell and left for the same land, always going one further. When the first arrived in a certain land, he began to make a name for himself that brought great news, but that he would only give it for money; Many people soon joined in to learn the news, and the man then said: “In such a land a child with seven arms has just been born”. Then the admired people paid the man for the novelty and he went on his way. Some more unbelievers were about to leave for that land to find out the certainty of the novelty, when the other brother appeared there and began to say that he was coming from there; then everyone asked him if he had seen the boy with seven arms. He replied: "I didn't see the boy with seven arms, but I saw a shirt to dry that had seven sleeves." “So it's true what they told us and gave the man a lot of money.
Meanwhile, the other brother was already spreading out on another land that he had seen a mill on top of a pine tree and received a lot of money in return for the novelty. After having left for another land, the brother arrived there and they asked him: “Look there: he says that in such land there is a mill on a Pine?" "Look, the boy replied, what I can tell you is that I saw a male loaded with sacks of flour climbing a pine tree above". "There! So it's true what they told us”, exclaimed the poor people. Afterwards they gave a lot of money to the men and they went to other lands to deceive the people….
An owl found an eagle and told him:
– O eagle, if you see some very beautiful birds, in a nest, with very well made beaks, look, there are not those who eat my children.
The eagle promised she wouldn't eat them. He went flying and found, in a tree, an owl's nest and ate the little owls. When the owl arrived and saw that his children had eaten him, he went to the eagle, very distressed:
– O eagle, you were false to me, because you promised not to eat my little children, and we killed them all.
The eagle replied:
– I found some small owls, in a nest, without beaks and with their eyes covered, all plucked, and I ate them; as you told me that your children were very beautiful and had well-shaped beaks, I understood that they weren't these…
From distant lands, an emigrant had returned to his homeland, who had brought a parrot to which he had become very fond as a single fortune.
He patiently managed to get the parrot to say a single sentence: "There is no doubt!" Despite the paucity of conversation, the man was content with the parrot's company.
Times, however, were difficult and the poor man was forced to sell his partner. He went to a nearby fair, and began to advertise the parrot as "the most intelligent bird I know and who always gives his right opinion, to any question that is asked."
A peasant who was as stupid as he was rich approached. Wanting to check the trading floor, he asked, addressing the parrot:
– O blond, are you really worth the money your owner asks for?
- There's no doubt! – the parrot replied promptly.
One day, a neighbor looked at him, saw where he kept the money, went there and stole everything. When the blind man realized that he was missing, he began to imagine who it could have been and concluded that it was, by force, the neighbor. He then decided to use a stratagem to recover his money.
He went to the neighbor and told him that he felt sick and that he had decided to leave everything to him since he had no family; then he explained to her where his hiding place was, adding that he still had to go back there to put some more savings.
The neighbor heard everything, thanked him very much for the idea and that night, he immediately went to bury the money he had stolen from the blind man, so that he would not suspect anything...
When he understood, the blind man returned to the site, found his treasure and took it home where he hid it well, but not before making a big racket, shouting:
– They stole everything from me, neighbor! They stole everything from me!
