It's a very simple game where you just have to tell the child a color or let them choose one and ask them to look for an object of that color. After finding an object, you can encourage him to look for a new one or ask him for the name of the object. Not only is it a way for the little one to learn colors, but also to expand their vocabulary and their ability to relate objects to their name. A variant is to place the child in front of several objects of different colors and ask him to show the object of the color you indicate.
With this game the child will not only memorize colors, but also be able to relate to the colors of their environment. Basically, is to show you different pictures you have at home, whether it's children's books or magazine clippings, and ask them to list the colors of each picture with the colors of their toys or with objects that are within your surroundings. You can ask him to identify multiple objects of the same color or change color once you have found an object that hue.
And suddenly one morning you decide to draw the day in a color? It's a really fun game: choose a color for each day and try to do all of the day's activities related to that color. For example, if you choose red, you can dress the child in a red robe, put the bed with a red leaf and prepare a tomato salad or a bunch of pasta to eat in bolognese. It's a fun and easy way to teach your kids colors while having fun together.
