Located in the south of Minas Gerais, São Lourenço stands out for its medicinal mineral water sources. Part of the Circuito das Águas, the city is approximately 400 km from Belo Horizonte, in the foothills of the Serra da Mantiqueira.
With a mild climate, the city attracts many tourists due to its main attraction, the Parque das Águas. With an extension of 430,000 m², the park is home to different fauna and flora, presenting a direct contact ______ with nature and the tranquility it provides. The lookout offers a panoramic view of the mountains and is reached by a cable car.
The cultural manifestation in the city is huge, making São Lourenço the stage for delicious local events, such as the patron's party. The municipality also holds the Ballooning Festival and the National Encounter of Antique Cars, among others.
The train station is one of the city's strong points. Preserving the European style of the beginning of the century in its buildings, it also has the Trem das Águas. Pulled by an authentic Maria Fumaça, the train takes a bucolic tour that ends at the Soledade de Minas Station.
