Constitution: way of doing

A constitution can be born in many ways. It can be, for example, imposed by force by a government, as occurred in Brazil in 1824, 1937 and 1969. Or else, be written by representatives chosen by the citizens, who meet with this purpose, forming what we call the Constituent Assembly, as happened with the Constitution Federal of 1988. Deputies and senators who were involved in creating this Constitution, for example, were elected in November 1986. In the task of creating it, they had the help of constitutionalists: jurists specialized in constitutional law – a discipline that studies how constitutions are made – and who are dedicated to thinking about how a constitution should be – if aimed at enshrining what already exists – working, then, as a manual of conduct, with the rules that must be followed by citizens - or to serve as a project for the future for the parents.
