Fragment of “King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table”

From this darkness, treading the secret paths of the Great Forest, a strange figure emerged. A magician named Merlin. Old as the roots of oak trees, able to hold the wind in his hands and turn it into poems, he had the gift of reading the future with his black eyes and of changing it with his incantations.
