Every day, Catapimba took the money to school to buy lunch. He arrived at the bar, bought a sandwich and paid for Lucas. But Mr Lucas never had change:
– Hey, boy takes a bullet, I don't have change.
One day, Catapimba complained to Lucas:
– Mr Lucas, I don't want candy, I want my change in cash.
– Well, boy, I don't have change. What can I do?
- Oh, I do not know! I just know I want my change in cash!
– Well, bullets are like money, boy! Now this…

Then, Catapimba decided to find a way. The next day he showed up with a bundle under his arm. Colleagues wanted to know what it was. Catapimba laughed and replied:
– At recess, you'll see…
And, at recess, everyone saw it. Catapimba bought your snack. When it was time to pay, he opened the package. And he took out... a chicken. He put the chicken on the counter.
– What is it, boy? – She asked if Lucas.
– It's to pay for the sandwich, Mr Lucas. Chicken is like money… Can you give me change, please?
The boys were waiting to see what Lucas was going to do. Mr Lucas stood still for a while, thinking... Then he put some coins on the counter:
– There's your change, boy!
And he took the chicken to end the mess.
The next day, all the children showed up with packages under their arms. At recess, everyone went to buy snacks. When it's time to pay… There were people who wanted to pay with a ping-pong racket, with a kite, with a bottle of glue, with jabuticaba jelly… And when Lucas complained, the answer was always same:
– Hey, Mr. Lucas, it's like money…
