NAME:
Giro the giraffe is in the mood to suck on candy.
“Maybe, if I learn to do some tricks, Mom will let me eat some candy,” he thinks.
He looks around.
– Imagine if I could balance this measuring stick on my nose?
He puts the bat upright in his nose and lets go.
Plop! The bat staggers and falls.
– Wow, this is difficult! – he tells himself.
Spin tries again. He keeps the body under the bat now. He manages to stay on his feet longer, then falls to the ground. Once again.
– It's getting better! – he celebrates. – Keep trying, Giro! The bullets are almost his!
Spin persists. He begins to figure out how to keep the bat upright in his nose.
– Hey, when I look at the tip of the bat, it works better!
Soon, Giro manages to keep the bat upright in his nose for a long time.
“I'll try it with Mom's big measuring stick,” she decides. He finds the bat and sets it upright in the air. “Here you go!” he thinks.
- Incredible! This longer stick is even easier than the other one! – Spin can hardly believe it!
– Spin, heavens, what is this? – asks his mother, entering the room. Her son is playing around the room with a long measuring stick up his nose. – You clown! How does he manage to do this?
Spin bows.
“I can teach you if you can give me some candy,” he laughs.
